Hi, I’m Camille—the founder of Golden Hour Live Art. I started the business in 2019 after relocating to the Austin area, with the goal of supporting my family while being more present for my children. What began as a one-woman operation has grown into a talented team of five (and counting!). When I’m not painting live at events or weddings on the weekends, you’ll find me on the tennis court with my oldest, creating in my home studio with my youngest, or out for a walk with our poodle, Bentley.

Building this team and business has been my greatest professional accomplishment. It’s the most challenging and rewarding work I’ve ever done—second only to being a mom. The watercolor guest portraits were such a unique and thoughtful touch at our wedding, our guests are still raving about them!

Each portrait was done so beautifully and captured everyone with so much personality and charm. I would highly recommend getting these watercolor portraits for any event.

We had 2 artists at our wedding with around 200 guests. Everyone loved their art so much that most ended up framing them. These keepsakes are a unique touch that everyone will rave about. They are a lot better than the standard Photo Booth. I would recommend booking multiple artists in a minimum 4hr slots for weddings.

We booked them for our April 2025 wedding and are so happy we did! From the very beginning, the team was super helpful and responsive. I had a ton of questions and they answered them so quickly and graciously! We ended up booking them for a few hours to paint watercolor portraits for our guests and I was so excited to learn that included in that my husband and I would get an 8x10 watercolor portrait of one of our favorite engagement photos! They were a vendor I didn’t have to worry about at all! They communicated up to the wedding and were there and setup earlier than supposed to be. Their artists are all so sweet and in fact, the way our venue was set up they were some of the last people I saw before I walked down the aisle and they were hyping me up! Our guests loved their portraits! Almost every social pose from friend and family post wedding included a snapshot of a super cute watercolor portrait! My husband and I got one as well and love it so much! Whatever you’re considering GHLA for, just do it! You won’t regret it!
